4 Montessori Gift Guide Units & Tons of Printables

December 11, 2014 by Vanessa 4 Comments

This is an amazing Montessori gift guide for unit studies with tons of free printables. These activities are perfect for the toddler and preschooler. - ChristianMontessoriNetwork.com

I am an organized person who loves to have a good plan. That is why I love unit studies combined with a Montessori learning style. Can unit studies be used in Montessori? I really appreciate what my friend Jennifer wrote regarding this topic. Please visit, Can unit studies be used in Reggio and Montessori?

These Montessori Gift Guide Units with printables were fun to put together with the organized homeschooling family in mind. There are four units in this post with beautiful materials for purchase along with free printables. The four units are science – life cycles, zoology – study of mammal footprints, geography – land & water forms, and a continent study of the arctic.

In each section, you will find 2-3 blog posts for each topic that were personally hand-picked because of the fun, detailed, and educational activities included. Each of these unit studies are perfect for the toddler and preschooler age group. Elementary aged children may also enjoy these activities. After the blog posts, I listed several educational toys that can be combined into the unit study. These toys also make great gifts! Finally, at the end of each topic you will find 2-3 hand-picked printables that match the unit study. Most of the printables are free or available for a low cost. It is recommended to print the printables on cardstock and laminate them for durability.

I hope you are inspired by this educational gift guide and that your children adore these unit studies!

This post is part of the 12 Days to a Montessori Christmas series.

Cute educational items! I especially liked the ones with the sandpaper. That looked like a very creative use.
